KMPR Historical Addition

Earlier in 2021, we were fortunate to acquire some items from the Phil Hill collection. Among them was the trophy that Hill and Mike Spence earned for pole position with Jim Hall's Chaparral 2F at the 1967 Nurburgring 1000 km. Dad got done restoring the trophy today, which is uniquely dimpled like a golf ball.
With the trophy came the armband Hill wore during the race, where the Chevrolet-powered #4 suffered gearbox issues after 12 of the 44 laps in the storied event.
They are amazing additions to the Kettle Moraine Preservation & Restoration collection.
