Every year I do an end-of-season FF attendance report for the final event of my season, usually the VSCDA Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival. 33 Formula Fords in three classes took part in Group 4, a down tick from 37 in 2024, but still a healthy number.
Reid Hazelton captured the Club Ford win with our 1977 All American Racers Eagle DGF ahead of Steve Welk's Crossle and Mark Kingham's Zink.
Meanwhile, Michael Argetsinger's former Elden PH10B took home the Vintage Formula Ford win ahead of Roger Karnopp's Titan and Murray Burkett's Chinook. It was a great way to finish off 2025 on the track for our squad. Special thanks to RB MotorSports Engineering, Scott Young Enterprises, Werth Race Enterprises, Shippert Racing Services, American Cylinder Gas, All American Racers, Elden Cars, and everyone who has made 2025 happen! Big things ahead for 2026... stay tuned! [Photos courtesy of Bill Nesius Photography] Today was another fine showing for the KMPR squad at the VSCDA Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival, held at Road America.
Reid Hazelton piloted our 1977 All American Racers Eagle DGF to a 2nd place finish in Club Ford after leading much of the race. Former KMPR MX-5 Cup driver Steve Welk just nipped the Eagle at the line after a see saw battle between the Eagle and the Crossle. Meanwhile, Michael Argetsinger's former Elden PH10B captured the Vintage Formula Ford honors after some massive setup changes overnight brought the car back to its usual self. [@philschroeder22 Photos] The Elden qualified 2nd in Vintage Formula Ford today behind Murray Burkett's Chinook. The setup was off, but we'll try to get it back in form again for tomorrow morning.
Reid qualified the Eagle 1st in Club Ford. It was a good day at the ballpark. [@i.am.mjm_studio photo] Martin Tanner's T-5 is returning to Road America this weekend for what we believe will be the first time since 1963. The car will be on display as a part of Road America's 70th Anniversary celebration.
